AAN to Host Four EHR User Group Meetings at 2013 Annual Meeting

To provide education and networking opportunities for neurologists who use the same electronic health records (EHR) software, there will be four Electronic Health Record (EHR) User Group Meetings at the 2013 Annual Meeting in San Diego. The meetings will be led by AAN experts who have experience with the specific EHR system.

Epic EHR User Group Meeting

• Sunday, March 17 from 12:00-1:00 p.m.
• San Diego Convention Center Room 22
• Led by Allison L. Weathers, MD

Intergy EHR User Group Meeting

• Sunday, March 17 from 8:00-9:00 a.m.
• San Diego Convention Center Room 31B
• Led by William S. Henderson, FACMPE

Objectives for the User Group Meetings:

• Network with fellow neurologists and practice managers using the specific EHR
• Learn how other users have optimized their EHR system to provide the best care for neurology patients
• Discover practices and tips when using the EHR to take back to your practice or institution
• Discuss with fellow users questions and challenges with the EHR system
• Develop structured feedback from neurologists to give to the specific EHR

Target Audience: Current users or those who are in the process of implementing the specific EHR.
