Participants will gain insights into the practice of neurologic intensive care medicine including fundamental skills of diagnosis, management, and prognostication of acute neurologic injuries; and acquire knowledge about the approach to ICU management of patients with acute brain injuries such as elevation of intracranial pressure and herniation, diagnosis and ICU management of neuromuscular disorders and spinal cord injury, assessments and predictions, and ethical implications of caring for comatose patients
