In this lecture-concert, the presenter will explore the mechanisms of music perception by the brain and will review some of the ways music parameters can modulate the autonomic nervous system. Incorporated in the lecture are musical performances that will highlight practically some of the scientific explanations. The program will end on some clinical examples of music therapy and performance medicine.
