Participants will learn about the most recent October 2022 update to the 21st Century Cures Act provisions which require easier patient access to a wide scope of electronic health record information. Media, including the New York Times, have published articles both lauding and presenting concerns about this update. Participants will learn and discuss cases, topics, and controversies to handle shared information appropriately to best benefit patient care and stay in compliance.
