Practice, Policy, and Ethics
Participants should learn what is possible during a real-time audiovisual telehealth exam and understand common misconceptions of what can be evaluated in a variety of virtual settings. Participants should be able to confidently conduct a basic neurologic exam on pediatric and adult patients over telemedicine with and without a telepresenter present and efficiently communicate with patients and telepresenters to position themselves and cameras for specific exam components to enhance evaluation.
