Learning Objectives Participants will be a part of a discussion on the challenges and opportunities for IMG in the field of neurology, and get a chance to meet past IMGs, current program directors, AAN staff, and other colleagues with personal/profession experience with successful IMG careers. The objectives of this session will be to discuss: what helped some of the past IMGs make a successful career in neurology; some common mistakes to avoid in IMG applications; what makes an IMG stand out from other applicants; networking opportunities and benefits; different tracks and specialties to consider; and AAN resources and how they can help IMGs.
