Aging, Dementia, and Behavioral Neurology
Participants should be able to describe the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms of Lewy body dementia (LBD), and apply the latest diagnostic criteria to accurately diagnose it; learn about the latest research, current therapies, and emerging treatment options for LBD; learn to identify the broad spectrum of clinical manifestations of LBD, including cognitive symptoms, motor symptoms, psychiatric symptoms, and sleep disturbances; and be able to master the strategies for managing these symptoms, focusing on both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, to improve patient outcomes.
