Participants should gain an understanding of the basic pharmacological concepts relevant to the clinical practice of neurology as well as an approach to medication selection for patients with neurologic diseases such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, neuro-oncology, headache, neuromuscular, vascular, and movement disorders. This program complements Basic Science: Neuropathology, Basic Science: Neuroanatomy-All the Lesions, and Basic Science: Neurophysiology, but covers independent topics.
