Participants should understand the basic concepts underlying nerve conduction studies including pitfalls and technical factors appreciate common nerve conduction patterns in neuromuscular disorders; apply needle EMG for the diagnosis of neuromuscular disorders. This program complements Clinical EMG 2: Case-based Clinical Applications of Nerve Conduction Studies and Needle Electromyography, but covers independent topics.
