Learning Objectives Participants should gain an understanding of the clinical presentation, laboratory serology, advances in pathophysiology histopathology, updated management strategies and ongoing research studies in myositis, a heterogenous group of muscle diseases with some overlapping feature, including polymyositis (PM), inclusion body myositis (IBM), antisynthetase syndrome (ASyS), dermatomyositis (DM), and immune-mediated necrotizing myopathies (IMNM) and get an update on new breakthroughs in the field.
