Participants should gain familiarity with the clinical features and phenomenology of dystonia; dystonia classification and differential diagnosis; the most common genetic forms of dystonia, recent genetic etiologies, and basis for clinical genetic testing in dystonia; and principles of treatment of dystonia with oral medications, botulinum toxin, rehabilitation, and surgical treatments including deep brain stimulation.
