Leadership
Brand You: Developing a Statement of Impact (SoI) is a workshop designed to instruct on best branding practices for self-promotion using a dynamic document called a SoI. This program seeks to help professionals identify value-added metrics to their institutions, fields of study, and within their communities; and teaches mechanisms for gathering and reporting clinical and productivity metrics, seeking executive-level coaching, national and international recognition, and how to ask for their worth. Plan for an interactive workshop to guide the development of a strong start for your SoI document. The workshop offers dedicated time in the activity with open discussion to ensure that participants walk away with a true plan for a document that they will continue to develop over the course of their careers. Participants will learn from successful leaders who have been able to accurately assess and state their value, and not allowing for their value to be assigned to them. Participants should learn how to improve their career satisfaction and avoid being underrated or overlooked at their institutions, and be empowered to best state your impact, grow opportunities for strong collaborations, exercise worth ethic, identify unique valuable skillsets, and nurture ideas for fueling career trajectories.
