In line with the focus of brain health, this session is meant to expand on the determinants of brain health by going beyond the basic social determinants of health to speak about the environmental determinants of health (e.g., fetal-materal considerations, environmental exposure to toxins, drugs, pollution, child and adolescent exposure to lead, food deserts), and the political determinants of brain health (e.g., health policy, legislation action, recent Supreme Court rulings, gerrymandering).
