General Neurology
Illness can greatly affect one’s life and neurology career, but illness can also refocus priorities to maximize wellness. In addition, neurologists can apply their own adverse health experiences to better care for their patients. By exploring areas of advocacy, compassion, post-traumatic growth, and spirituality, participants should learn how to harness the power of adversity and resilience to help themselves as neurologists, each other as a community of medical practitioners, and our patients.
