Participants should be able to assess whether any published study provides strong or weak evidence; understand the ways in which methodological quality is assessed for therapeutic, diagnostic, and prognostic studies; understand the diagnostic/prognostic value of transcranial doppler in neurovascular conditions; determine which modalities are effective in treating essential tremor; and understand the prognostic and treatment implications of the presence of a patent foramen ovale in patients with cryptogenic stroke.
