Learning Objectives Upon completion:
Participants should become familiar with the AAN guidelines on use of the new antiepileptic drugs; appreciate the treatment strategies for status epilepticus; understand the nuances of differential diagnosis of unusual seizure-like events; and become familiar with the different pediatric epilepsy syndromes and their management.

The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology has reviewed Clinical Epilepsy I and has approved this product as part of a comprehensive lifelong learning program, which is mandated by the ABMS as a necessary component of maintenance of certification.
