Participants should have a comprehensive understanding of the basic and clinical aspects of cerebral venous disorders; appreciate the different spectrum of diseases associated with CVT; understand the role of new laboratory, CT, and MRI techniques in the evaluation of patients with suspected CVT; provide comprehensive medical care to CVT patients; and appreciate the role of novel endovascular and surgical therapies in CVT.
