Participants should be able to identify the important radiological features of spine infections (e.g., epidural abscess, osteomyelitis, discitis, and myelitis); the radiological features of spine trauma and its sequelae; the important clinical and radiological features of spine and spinal cord tumors; and the neurological imaging correlates for vascular diseases of the spinal cord. In addition, participants should become familiar with MR neurography and know the limitations of the imaging techniques in predicting the anatomic origin of pain, neurological deficit, and the response to treatment.
