Upon completion:
Participants should be able to identify the various medical, surgical, and hormonal therapeutic options for patients with new-onset seizures, refractory epilepsy, and status epilepticus; outline the advantages and disadvantages of each therapy as they pertain to central quality-of-life measures such as driving, employment, and education; and understand how various seizure therapeutics impact metabolic issues such as weight gain, and endocrine and bone health.
