Participants should be able to understand how to address medical mistakes that may or may not lead to harm and the ethical implications involved; understand how to anticipate the problems that may arise between office visits and common patient questions/concerns/confusion/misperceptions; understand the best ways to facilitate between a patient's hospitalization and transition between the in-patient and out-patient world; and understand how to form a support team to help in the care of your patient.
