Participants should be able to identify ways in which increasing neurological subspecialization could affect the goals and expectations of neurology residency and the process of training neurologists during and after residency; recognize the role of certifying organizations in training subspecialists and certifying their competence; and be able to define the educational roles of general neurologists and neurological subspecialists.
