Leadership Development Committee

The Leadership Development Committee is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the overarching AAN Leadership Program. The committee reviews and approves existing leadership programs and courses offered by the Academy, and suggests changes and/or the creation of new programs and courses based on perceived gaps.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Attend two meetings each year:
  • Meeting at the Annual Meeting to review all leadership programs and current AAN Leadership Program objectives.
  • October meeting to review all leadership program/course activities for the upcoming year.
• Participate in conference calls with other Committee members on relevant issues as they arise throughout the year.
• Assist in setting AAN Leadership Program priorities and identifying opportunities.
