Eligibility

• Must be an active AAN US or Canadian member.
• Must be a director at a US or Canadian academic institution in their role.
• Seasoned directors – defined as more than 3 years within their role.
• Associate Directors are eligible to apply as a mentee.
• Selected recipients will serve as mentors to recipients of the Enhanced Resident Leadership Program or Resident Scholarship to the Annual Meeting.
  • Mentees: If selected, Annual Meeting registration is not included. Selected Mentees are required to register for the meeting.
  • Mentors: If selected, mentors will receive Annual Meeting registration.

Application Requirements

• Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• Short statement of interest including:
  • Mentees: Indicate what you are hoping to gain from this program. Why are you seeking a mentor?
  • Mentors: Provide some examples of the skills and knowledge you hope to share with your mentee.

• Associate Directors can apply as a mentee and will need a letter of support from their clerkship or program director.
