Industry Relations Subcommittee

This is a subcommittee of the Meeting Management Committee. Responsibility is to monitor and guide the role of Industry Relations as it relates to the Annual Meeting and Regional Conferences.  Monitor changes in pharmaceutical companies.

Job Description

Responsibilities 

• Recommend policies, structure, and format for Industry Roundtable events. 
• Maintain and grow Industry Roundtable, including policies, dues, benefits, and investigating new potential members.

Meeting Schedule 

Attend meetings each year: 

• October meeting:
  • The subcommittee meeting prior to the Industry Roundtable meeting, to review current Industry Roundtable policies and dues structure and prepare for the Industry Roundtable meeting 
  • Industry Roundtable Meeting to meet with Industry Roundtable members and AAN leadership 
• March/April (virtual): 
  • Subcommittee meeting to discuss Industry Roundtable issues and policies. 
• Participate in conference calls with other subcommittee members on relevant issues as they arise throughout the year.  

Estimated Time Commitment 

One hour every other month, plus meetings
