Participants should become familiar with historical elements suggestive of circadian rhythm disorders, hypersomnolence (vs hypersomnia), and insomnia; be able to educate their patients on healthy sleep-wake scheduling and behaviors; and be able to choose appropriate diagnostics, referrals, and first-line treatments for common sleep-wake disorders recognized in their patients.
