Participants should develop an understanding of how to diagnose neurological disorders that may accompany illicit drug use and heavy metal toxicity. They should recognize the neurotoxicity associated with newer therapies like chimeric antigen T-cell therapy and therapy with immune checkpoint inhibitors; and be familiar with toxidromes like serotonin syndrome, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome, and reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome.
