Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG)
Participants should apply standardized critical care EEG terminology to appropriately recognize and categorize seizures, periodic and rhythmic patterns and the ictal interictal continuum; learn to apply the 2HELPS2B seizure risk score and understand the potential clinical impact on duration of EEG monitoring; understand how implementation of QEEG technology can assist in rapid detection of electrographic seizures in addition to other clinically significant EEG changes; and become familiar with management approaches to complex patterns that fall along the ictal interictal continuum.
