Autoimmune Neurology
Participants will learn to recognize the clinical features of paraneoplastic neurologic disorders of the CNS, know the cancer association and appropriate oncological evaluations, become familiar with the type of associated neuronal antibodies targeting intracellular antigens, and the techniques for their detection, understand the prognostic factors and therapeutic approach. This course will also illustrate how brain autopsy exam can help diagnosis and will provide attendees with an overview of the experimental models of autoimmune paraneoplastic neurologic disorders.
