Practice, Policy, and Ethics
The term “population health” is used often in healthcare but it is unclear to many what it actually means and how it applies in practice. The panel discussion will briefly dive into what population health is and isn’t, components of population health (social determinants of health, policies and interventions) and how these components apply to neurology practice by giving real life examples of population health interventions. The panel will highlight AAN's Population Health Fundamentals microlearning series on the topic and offer discussion/interactive question and answer with the audience.
