Learning Objectives There are so many advantages to working in an academic institution as an advanced practice provider but APP’s do not always feel prepared or empowered to take advantage of all those opportunities. This conversation, given by an APP with over 10 years of experience in an academic setting, will walk through the 6 Pillars of APP Success and use anecdotes as well as some pearls for neurology APP’s to consider when examining their own professional growth as a member of an academic neurology practice. Topics covered will include role clarity, engagement, mentorship, just compensation, evaluation and recognition of the APP.
