This session will be an active discussion where we will examine the benefits of having master clinicians as part of academic departments. The strengths they can bring to the department for quality and education as well as clinical trial recruitments. Discussion will be had as to how to recognize the work and promote a physician whose focus is clinical practice within an academic setting.
