Participants should understand the basic neuroanatomy of the dorsal (WHERE) and ventral (WHAT) pathways that govern post-striate visual processing; understand the history, clinical manifestations, and scientific studies relating to ventral pathway disorders, including cortical dyschromatopsia, visual apperceptive agnosia, alexia without agraphia, and prosopagnosia; and evaluate patients with disorders of the dorsal pathway, including optic ataxia, ocular apraxia, and simultagnosia.
