Participants should be able to diagnose and treat mood disorders as a significant comorbidity in people with epilepsy; understand approach to the patient with nonepileptic seizures or nonepileptic behavioral events, the comorbid psychopathology, and its treatment; and identify and manage acute seizure-related behavioral problems and postictal psychosis.
