Hubs (Academic)
Bradford B. Worrall, MD, MSc, FAAN
General Neurology
A career in academic neurology is based on pursuit of clinical, research, and educational missions. Add to that the demands of service to the department/institution/community and, oh, that small thing called "life," the notion of achieving work-life "balance" can seem not only impossible but almost laughable. The reality, as with much of life, is that focusing on the long game is necessary. We will discuss the challenges that we face as academics. Please bring any examples that you are comfortable discussing and, of course, good ideas to contribute. The format will be interactive.
