Learning Objectives This presentation will cover the clinical presentation and proposed pathophysiology of AAD, as well as the modulation of three major monoamines (norepinephrine, serotonin, and dopamine) during the disease course. The audience will also learn more about current treatment guidelines for AAD to better understand the unmet needs associated with this condition. Following the presentation, Dr. Marwan Sabbagh will engage a care partner of a patient with AAD in a brief interview to provide real world insight on caring for a loved one with AAD. Please note that no CME will be given by any accredited organization for attending.
