History of Neurology
Immediately following the live interview of retired AAN CEO, Catherine Rydell, hosted by the AAN History Section and conducted by Christopher Boes, MD, FAAN, this session will explore the history of women neurologists who broke down barriers to study medicine and specialize in neurology. With a focus on the importance of mentorship, we will discuss ways to increase diversity and historically excluded groups in neurology. Note that another live interview of past AAN president, Sandra F. Olson, MD, FAAN is scheduled for Sunday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m.
