Participants should be able to understand how moral distress affects us as medical professionals; identify common scenarios from which moral distress can arise; understand some wellness approaches to mitigate the effects of moral distress; learn about one health system’s approach to the development of a moral distress support system built from the ground up, including facilitator training and funding; list the ways narrative medicine can address moral distress at the individual, interpersonal, and societal level; and learn about upcoming narrative medicine offerings across the country.
