Applications Open for 2024-2025 AAN Academic Year Membership

The AAN is now accepting applications for AAN Student, Intern, and Junior memberships for the 2024-2025 academic year cycle, which runs from July 1 through June 30. These special memberships are designed exclusively for those in training—including medical school, PhD, residency, or fellowship—to better align the AAN’s valuable offerings with academic training dates.

Physicians who have graduated from an accredited or recognized medical school or a school of osteopathy and who are engaged in their first year (or second year for Child Neurology) of postgraduate studies directed toward completing a neurology training program. |

Physicians or postdoctoral fellows who have graduated from an accredited or recognized medical school or a school of osteopathy and who are engaged in postgraduate studies directed toward completing a neurology training program, or PhDs who are completing postdoctoral research training. |

Completed Training? Receive Complimentary AAN Membership for the Remainder of 2024!
Current Junior members who have completed their neurology training will be transitioned to a six-month complimentary online membership from July 1 through December 31, 2024. This membership offers you member-exclusive pricing on AAN programs, products, and services, as well as an online subscription to AAN publications, including Continuum®.
Those eligible for this online complimentary membership will be automatically transitioned to appropriate member type based on the training information we have on file. To confirm or update your training, please contact AAN Member Services.
